Since 2020, Carpenteria colombo have been monitoring the environmental impact of every product, following the standards of GHG PROTOCOL.
From this time on, different new measures have been applied in order to reduce tonCO2 emissions:
- Installation of a new and advance solar panel system of 160 KW.
- Introduction of new, high-tech truck, low emission vehicles.
- Purchase of a new full electric crane.
- Purchase of a new full electric forklift.
Our company will be pursuing this path in the next years with the initial target of reducing carbon footprint and emissions by 5% before 2030, following Scope 1 and 2 of european GHG PROTOCOL.
Despite the on growing sales figures and productive capabilities of the newly constructed plant, Carpenteria Colombo will be committing to the cause by also collecting annual data and reports on the improvements.
